Unique Islands, Unique Experiences
As a non-profit foundation made up entirely of volunteers, the New Era Galapagos Foundation is always looking for individuals interested in understanding the needs and interests of the people of San Cristobal. We seek open-minded individuals from all walks of life who share our passion for the environment and its conservation, and who would relish the opportunity to live and work in a natural paradise like the Galapagos Islands.
English teaching volunteers will be based at the NEGF centre, which is based in the centre of town on the 'Malecon' (promenade), right on the seafront of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. The NEGF centre offers after school English courses during the afternoons and evenings for children anged 5 - 17 and adults.
The NEGF educational program runs parallel to the school year, which runs from April - January (In much of mainlaind Ecuador the regular school year runs from approximately late September to the end of June)
