first donation from a local tour operator named Barry Boyce of Galapagos
Travel enabled us to open our doors and offer community classes in May of
2000. Since then, we have expanded the breadth and depth of our programs, made
improvements to our community center, rented a computer, sponsored two former
students to pursue university level studies, organized outdoor cinema and other
cultural events, among other things.Through continued support of generous individuals and institutions, we hope to continue to improve our organization and the services we offer. All donors are notified periodically of the developments and exact programs made possible by their generous contributions, and should feel confident that a little money goes along way towards helping achieving our goals. If you are visiting the Galapagos Islands why not pay us a visit, make your donation personally and see exactly where your money will be going. Our headquarters, Rincon Ecologico, is located across the road from the main passenger peir (where you will arrive from your boat), across the street from the Casa Blanca.
